Privacy policy for registering an extended warranty:

In connection with EU Directive No 95/46/EC of 24 October 1995 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, including other applicable legal regulations relating to the protection of personal data (hereinafter the “GDPR”), Hilding Anders Česká republika a.s., company ID No 261 73 212, registered office Branská 329, 514 01 Jilemnice, entered in the Commercial Register of the Regional Court in Hradec Králové, section B, inset 2434, the controller of the personal data of customers interested in an extended warranty for selected goods (hereinafter the ”Controller”), issues this information regarding personal data protection.

If you are interested in an extended warranty for an offered good, please send your explicit and voluntary consent to the processing of your personal data to the email address of the Controller reklamace.cz@hildinganders.com (hereinafter the “Specific Consent”). Without the Specific Consent, the Controller is unable to provide you with the following extended warranty for selected types of good.

By sending your Specific Consent, you also express your interest in receiving information about marketing events and commercial messages (newsletters) about products and services of the Controller and/or other third parties. For this specified purpose, the Controller will process your personal data within the following scope: name, surname, address, date of birth, telephone number, email address, company ID No (in the case of a natural person engaged in business or a legal person), and potentially data about the transaction history and bank account.

These personal data are processed on the one hand for the purpose of meeting the above contractual obligations, and on the other for the protection of the Controller’s legally protected rights and interests. In connection with the provision of the Specific Consent, the Controller and/or its business partners may send you targeted commercial offers and may contact you as part of marketing research and analysis.

The Controller and its employees who are properly trained and familiarised with the privacy policy have access to the personal data of customers. The Controller processes the personal data of customers who have provided such data in connection with registration for, and subsequent provision of, an extended warranty for selected goods of the Controller, and also processes data from publicly accessible registers and records.

Customer personal data will be stored only as long as there is reason to store them and for as long as permitted or required by applicable legal regulations of the Czech Republic. This means that these personal data will be stored at least for the duration of any contractual relationship with the Controller and for a further four years after the termination of such contractual relationship in case of disputes arising from a performance from an order made by a customer, or for another legal reason.

The customer has the right to know what personal data are processed in connection with their Specific Consent, the right to request a copy of such data, and the right to the portability of selected data. They also have the right to have incorrect personal data corrected, the right to file an objection and, in certain cases, the right to revoke their consent and to request the deletion of their personal data (as long as such personal data are no longer necessary for the above performances by the Controller), which however will mean the automatic cancellation of a provided extended warranty for the selected good(s).

The personal data of customers are under constant physical, electronic and procedural control to ensure the appropriate protection for the processed personal data from unauthorised access or transmission, loss or destruction.

The Controller will provide personal data to supervisory authorities and other state authorities where such obligation is determined by an applicable legal regulation. The Controller may entrust the processing of personal data to a third party, meaning a personal data processor, based on a relevant contract that binds such processor to provide the same level of protection for such personal data as provided by the Controller. Some personal data may also be made available to suppliers providing the Controller with certain services (the delivery of shipments, marketing communications, etc., while a list of such potential personal data processors can be found on the Controller’s website). Your personal data will not be transferred outside the EU. The customer also has the right to make comments and raise objections regarding the processing of personal data, both directly to the Controller and to the Office for Personal Data Protection.
